One Hundred Forty-Ninth Commencement

The ceremony will be held outside at Steele Stadium (football field)
Guest Information
- Gates Open at TBA
- Guests may enter through Alumni Plaza.
- Graduates can bring up to 8 guests to the Commencement in Steele Stadium.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event Commencement is moved inside to the Cave, tickets will be required and each student will be limited to 8 guests - students MAY NOT share extra tickets.
Seating Information
- Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Commencement guests are required to remain in their seats until the conclusion of commencement.
Commencement Live
Friends and family who are not able to attend graduation in person may view it live on the Mishawaka Network.
Graduation Photos
- In order to eliminate the picture-taking crowd of friends and relatives who gather around the Graduation stage, a professional photographer will photograph all students as they receive their diploma.
- GradImages is the official commencement photographer for our school.
- Proofs will be ready to view online as soon as 48 hours after the ceremony.
- In order to notify you when your images are available, GradImages sends emails and mails paper proofs, along with optional text message notifications. Your information is never shared and privacy is guaranteed. Pre-registering will be available soon.
Graduating Senior Reminders
- Rehearsals: May 27 & 28, 2026
- Commencement tickets will be distributed after the graduation practice (May 27 & 28) upon turning in your Chromebook.
- June 4: Seniors are to meet promptly at 4:45 PM in their assigned classrooms.
- In those classrooms, a supervisor will take attendance and then each classroom will be released in an orderly fashion to head to Steele Stadium for the commencement ceremony.
BEHAVIOR & DRESS CODE
Please remember that commencement participation is a privilege, not a required activity. Students will need to follow behavior standards and dress code.
- Seniors have an obligation to be appropriately dressed under their gowns. Since this is a voluntary activity and privilege, anyone who does not want to participate should make it known to Mr. Blair.
- Dress for graduating seniors is business casual: dresses, dress pants, blouses, button down shirts, dress shoes. NO shorts, jeans, flip-flops, or high heels are permitted.
- Gowns must remain zipped and caps must be worn.
- Caps may be decorated, but must follow MHS guidelines.
