Final Sprint to Graduation

The vast majority of seniors are on track to complete graduation requirements by the last day of school (May 28) and participate in the graduation ceremony on June 4 at 6:00 PM in Steele Stadium (football field).

May 19 Senior Military Signing Day
May 20 MAROON - Senior Walk
May 22 MAROON - All Maroon finals for seniors
  • Grades 9-11: Finals will be given M1 and M3
May 25 Memorial Day - No school
May 26 WHITE - All White finals for seniors
  • Grades 9-11: Finals will be given W1 and W3
May 27 MAROON - Seniors graduation rehearsal at 9:30 AM, then dismiss
  • Chromebook turn-in day: last name A-L
  • Grades 9-11: Finals will be given M2 and M4
May 28 WHITE - Seniors graduation rehearsal at 9:30 AM, then dismiss
  • Chromebook turn-in day: last name M-Z
  • Grades 9-11: Finals will be given W2 and W4
June 4

Graduation in Steele Stadium (football field) at 6:00 PM
Seniors report to their assigned area at 4:45 PM

June 9 Diploma pick-up at 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

End of Semester Information

End of Semester
Seniors must have completed their work and earned all credits. Seniors must have completed all graduation requirements to walk across the stage and receive a diploma.

Students who do not complete requirements by the Thursday (May 28) before commencement will need to attend summer school. Contact your counselor for information.

Low Grades and Failures
Parents or guardians of seniors are requested to note carefully the grades which appeared on the report card for the fifth grading period ending April 17, 2026. Any grade below a C- is considered a warning grade.

In those cases where seniors are in danger of failing courses required for graduation letters of notification from the counseling office will be sent to parents and guardians.

Report Cards
Report cards will be digitally posted to Skyward at the end of the semester (June 5). If a paper copy is needed, please contact the Main Office at 574-254-7323. Transcript requests must go through www.parchment.com.

Library books, Textbooks and Chromebooks/Devices
All Library books must be returned to the Library by May 15th, 2026.

Any classroom textbooks must be returned to the proper classroom or bookstore. Checked out textbooks must be returned to the bookstore after the exam. Senior Chromebook drop-off will be after graduation rehearsals. In order to pick up Graduation Tickets, seniors must turn in their Chromebook and charger during
these two days.

Senior Attendance
Attendance is important all year and especially during the remaining days for seniors. Please do not allow poor attendance to jeopardize your graduation date. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter, and we wish you the best as you close your high school careers.

Elkhart Area Career Center
Seniors attending Elkhart Area Career Center must continue to attend until May 26, 2026. You MUST attend graduation practice on May 27 and 28. Please make sure you check and follow all EACC finals and schedules until your MHS finish date.
